"I have a number of the I-PHI units installed on my fleet of Volvo Automatics and a variety of city trucks and to date we see no black exhaust and are getting up to 21 % in fuel savings."

“I had been sampling my SWEPCO oil up to 64,000 miles and the reports kept coming back ‘continue to use’. At 83,500 miles my report showed a coolant leak and I put in fresh oil with the repair work. If not for that coolant leak I suspect I would have continued to use that oil for some time yet. And my stacks were so clean, I didn't have to wash the trailers after a trip.”

"My wife and I own a 2004 780VN Volvo. It has a 465 Hp Volvo Motor with a 12 speed Meritor Auto shift transmission with 3:55 rear ends. Mostly, I have hauled ‘dry vans’; lately it has been ‘flatbed and step-deck’ with oversized loads. I travel 90% of the time in about a 1,000 mile radius from Hamilton. The truck has 1,223,227 km on it.

Fuel (Life time from computer download):
6.04 miles / US gallon
7.25 miles / Imperial gallon
38.9 Litres / 100 km
2.57 km / litre
Idle time is .098%

When the truck was a year old, I had a HFI Hydrogen system installed. It had its problems, but worked well. Then in September of 2008, the HFI unit was removed and the I.H.S. I-PHI unit was installed. The I.H.S. I-PHI unit produces more hydrogen, and I noticed more power with almost no carbon. My stack stays carbon free, so I think I can say that I am getting a cleaner burn. The I-PHI unit needs to be filled with ‘distilled water’ only once a month. The holding tank is under the bunk, inside the cab, and is easy to get at. The fuel line (hydrogen) runs to the air inlet after the air filter.

Power:
With the autoshift trans set for the ‘Auto’:
-the hill west of Ayr on the 401 going west
-loaded with 35,000 lb.
-unassisted, the trans would shift about ½ way up
-with the HFI unit, the trans would shift about ¾ way up
-with the I-PHI unit, the trans shifts about 90% of the way up
-with I-PHI unit and Air Cell, I get about 1 truck length from the top of the hill

Fuel Mileage:
In the winter, my AC compressor seized and burned off the belt, and therefore my alternator was not working. The I-PHI unit, which is activated off the alternator, was therefore not working, and the unit was not producing hydrogen. I had deliveries and pick-ups to make so I ran my APU to keep batteries up and work lights. I worked from Mississauga to Port Hope, and back to Milton. I had filled with fuel before I started and then when I finished. The traffic had been
free flowing with very little slow-downs. I averaged for that day 5.23 miles / US gallon or 6.3 miles / Imperial gallon, or 33.68 Litres / kilometer meaning that my mileage dropped considerably(15.5%).

To Conclude:
This I-PHI Hydrogen unit gives you a cleaner burn which relates to more power and better fuel mileage with less soot build-up in the engine. It is a Canadian product and is well made, well researched and very ‘driver-friendly’.
-an extra to using hydrogen, is that with the cleaner burn, there is less wear and build-up on the EGR valves
-fill the water reservoir with steamed distilled water once a month and happy driving"
